The front nine of Capdepera is nothing to write home
about, but don't get disheartened because the back
nine is well worth the wait. The tenth green is like
an ampitheatre, the fifteenth 15th hole was voted
the most exceptional hole on the island by Mallorca
Magazine in 2004, it is way up in the mountains and
the fairway is far down a valley and you have to tee
off over a canyon sized gap, very good fun. |

Golfers View:
This course has the lot.
Long open fairways, long tight fairways, water just
about everywhere and a number of double tier greens.
Add these to the idyllic setting in a valley surrounded
by mountains and throw in a beautiful view of the
Med. Not over long at 6,700 yards, but high handicappers
may become frustrated here as I can’t think
of one easy hole. Capdepera Golf can, if you don’t
know the area, be a little difficult to find but persevere
and you’ll know you’ve had a game of golf.

almost too numerous to mention,
but after replacing the flag on the par 5 first, you
will begin to realize what’s in store. Furthermore,
I believe the eighteenth, also a par 5, is one of
the most cunningly testing holes on the island. |
