| A
physically challenging 9 Holes of Golf perfectly adapted
to the local environment. The course offers panoramic
views over the Tramuntana mountains, olive groves,
the bays of Pollença and Alcudia and s’Albufereta
reserve. By the end of the first round, the visitor
will surely agree that challenge, variety, and harmony
with nature are focal points around which the club’s
success is built.
Golf Pollensa was opened in1986 and underwent a complete
renovation programme in the year 2000. In deference
to the environment, the golf course is irrigated using
purified water.

Says:
A good course for those that like
to climb mountains for fun. This mostly forested course
is physically hard work, so you might want to think
about hiring a cart. Being so high up, pollenca has
glorious views, and the nine holes are of average difficulty.
A
Golfers View:
This
is a fun nine holer. Not long and not as testing as
the nine at Son Servera but incredibly well maintained
and set in idyllic country side with good views of the
Med. For a perfectly relaxing day, why not play 27 holes
at a leisurely pace (of course we don’t advocate
slow play). Like Son Servera, don’t discount Pollenca
purely because of its length.
Authors favourite:
Hole 9 is the only par 5 at just over 500 yards. The
par 3 fourth can be tricky when the water comes into
play, but the toughest hole is possibly the par 4 seventh,
about 370 yards, dead straight but fairly tight.
